SEO Meta Crawler is a Chrome extension that helps users crawl and audit websites for common SEO and technical issues. The extension analyzes websites selected by the user and displays the results directly in the browser.
When you enter a website URL and start a crawl, SEO Meta Crawler requests the web pages and XML sitemaps needed to perform the requested crawl.

SEO Meta Crawler does not require users to provide their name, email address, password, payment information, health information, or precise location in order to use the extension.
The extension does not intentionally collect personal information about the user.
A website selected for crawling may itself contain personal information or other user-generated information. If such information is present in the website content being analyzed, the extension may process it as part of the requested crawl. The extension does not intentionally collect such information for purposes unrelated to the SEO analysis.
Website content accessed during a crawl is used only to provide the extension's core functionality, including:
SEO Meta Crawler uses Chrome's local extension storage to save crawl progress, crawl settings, and crawl results.
This allows the extension to preserve crawl information when the extension popup is closed and to display previously collected results when the extension is reopened.
This information is stored locally in the user's browser. SEO Meta Crawler does not send this stored crawl information to a developer-operated server or database.
SEO Meta Crawler accesses website content when the user initiates a crawl and selects a website to analyze.
The extension uses Chrome's active-tab and scripting capabilities to access and analyze the currently selected website. This allows the extension to analyze the website selected by the user without requesting permanent access to all websites.
SEO Meta Crawler does not sell, rent, or share users' crawl results or website content with third parties for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.
Crawl processing is performed by the extension and by the websites requested by the user. SEO Meta Crawler does not operate a server or database for storing users' crawl results.
The extension does not use an advertising network, analytics service, or third-party data-processing service to process crawl results.
Crawl progress, settings, and results may remain in the extension's local browser storage until they are removed by the extension, the user, or Chrome's extension data management.
CSV files and reports exported by the user are handled according to the browser's normal file-download behavior and are under the user's control.
SEO Meta Crawler does not maintain a developer-operated database of crawl results.
SEO Meta Crawler does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code. Its executable extension code is packaged with the extension.
SEO Meta Crawler is designed to minimize data collection and process crawl information locally in the user's browser whenever possible.
Because the extension retrieves content directly from websites selected by the user, the availability and security of those websites are outside the control of SEO Meta Crawler.
