SEO Meta Crawler is a Chrome extension that helps users crawl and audit websites for common SEO and technical issues. Users initiate a crawl for a website they select, and the extension displays the resulting analysis in the browser.
When a user enters a website URL and starts a crawl, SEO Meta Crawler requests the web pages and XML sitemaps needed to perform that crawl. Depending on the website and the available page content, the extension may process:

The extension requests website content from the websites selected by the user as needed to perform the requested crawl. Those website requests are separate from transmitting stored crawl results to the extension developer.

The extension uses local storage to preserve crawl progress and results. It does not intentionally monitor unrelated websites or collect content outside the scope of a user-initiated crawl.
SEO Meta Crawler does not sell users' crawl results or website content. It does not share this information with third parties for advertising, profiling, creditworthiness, or lending purposes.
The extension does not operate a developer-operated server or database to receive or store crawl results. It does not use an advertising network, analytics service, or third-party data-processing service to process crawl results.
Crawl progress, settings, and results may remain in Chrome's local extension storage until they are cleared or removed by the extension, the user, or Chrome's extension data management.
CSV files and reports exported by the user are handled according to the browser's download behavior and settings. Users can manage downloaded files through their device's normal file-management tools.
SEO Meta Crawler does not maintain a developer-operated database of crawl results.
SEO Meta Crawler does not load or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code. Its executable extension code is packaged with the extension.
SEO Meta Crawler is designed to minimize data collection and keep crawl information in the user's browser. Website content is retrieved from websites selected by the user, and their availability and security practices are outside the extension developer's control.
